Bottom Photo - Thay Thich Nhat Hanh. Sitting. We are sitting with him in the picture, ready for his Dharma talks.
Next two photos - The road by New Hamlet, (the monestary where I stayed for five days), and the grounds. We got up very early there, so the picture of the road with the sign and the moon was taken with the rising of the sun, and the warming of the frosted earth.
Top two photos - 1) Walking meditation with Thay, and friends, and my good friend, Annie. We stopped and lay in the sun for a while, overlooking hills upon hills. 2) Bamboo exercises with Tina. I was excited for the opportunity to do these exercises with her again on my last day. Tina is the one on the left - a joyous woman who melted my heart.
Working as a part time teaching assistant in Marseille, France has granted me the time to pursue my other passions as well. For that, I feel extremely lucky and happy. When I'm not teaching adorable French children how to say "Yes, please," and "Good Morning, or "It's cloudy," I'm sitting at my computer trying to put into words different ideas, stories, or songs that come to mind. Bit by bit, I hope to share these with the world!
